Make do and Mend
Covid19 has changed my life because when you have to go shopping you cant just walk in you have to line up outside, you can't just walk into a shop, you have to wear a face mask. you cant be around too many people at the same time. We need to be in small groups and we need to keep our distance from each other. School has also changed as we need to stay in year groups and each group is in a separate area. we need to stay safe by washing our hands often and sanitising our hands when we enter or leave a room. We stay in year group zones and when we enter school we go straight to your year zone. and are collected by your teachers and they take you to your lesson. then after lesson your teacher takes you to your year zone. when we go on the computers we have to wipe them down before using them. then after when your finished using the computers you have to wipe them down agin. the only toilets we can use are block 3. every lesson before we go into class we have to put hand gel on and after lesson.
Image Analysis
in this picture I see a little boy with a cowboy hat on and he was holding a gun. he's wearing a grey jumper with tiny holes in .the boy looks servers ,angry and frustrated. if someone couldn't see the picture I would describe the colour and the little boy and whats he's wearing. the picture remind me of a cowboy movie and a comedy movie.
Hannah Hoch
In this picture I can see a woman holding a light bulb, the light bulb looks as though it is replacing the head of the person. I can also see parts of machinery which looks as though it comes from maybe car parts. I can see hair, it is big, brown and puffy, as it is large it takes top a lot of the image. I can also see logos from BMW and a hand which seems out of place as it comes from the hair, it looks odd as it is also holding a clock. I can also see a face at the top of the image, only half of the face is showing as it is covered by the BMW logo and it is black and white so it stands out in the same way. The eyes are big and one of them looks larger than the other. The is also a large rusty wheel at the bottom left I am wondering why it is there because it doesn't fit in with the rest of the image it stands alone.
Marcel Duchamp and the 'Readymade'
This picture was painted by Leonardos da Vinci. It is so famous because it was highly regarded even as Leonardo worked on it and his contemporaries copied the then novel 'Three-quarter pose. It was also famous because it was stolen from a museum/gallery.
The reproduction image changed by Duchamp is very different from the original. He has changed it from a female to a male. He has created this by adding a moustache and a beard. I think that he has changed it and I think that he has ruined it as his changes are comical and I think it is insulting to the artist. He has changed the whole image in this way by making it look like graffiti. The titler translate as 'hot in the a___' I think it is insulting to the artist and the model.
A readymade image is one that is already created by another person, the artist has just appropriated the image to make those changes. This is an appropriated image which he has simply drawn onto.

Prison Photography
Being in prison and being in this Covid-19 lockdown are similar because prison they are only out of their cells for 1 hour a day. in Covid 19 lockdown you can only have 1 hour of exercise and we cant see anyone and doing the same thing everyday can make your mental health suffer. you could feel lonely because you cant see your family and friends and you cant talk to anyone. we can have loads of thinking time.

prison photography- book
prison photography is a collection of photography taken by the inmates of the bolzano- bozen penal institution durning a weekly photography course taught by nicolo degiorgis over a period of 6 years, between 2013 and 2018 in collaboration with the alpha beta piccadilly language school. the limits inherent to photographing in an isolated location such as a prison were the key point around which the entire course was based. divided into various chapters dedicated to different photographic techniques, the book encouraged the reader to reflect on two things: the role of photography itself and the inmates attempts to escape from the monotony of prison life.
